An uncommon, vintage Chanel necklace that is rather rare and impressive; composed of a collection of both Maltese and traditional crosses all done in gold-tone metal.
The five traditional crosses range in size from ½" x 3/8" (1.3cm x 0.9cm) to 1 1/8" x ¾" (3.2cm x 2.4cm) and are enameled in hues of wine red, light pink, dark orange / rust, fuchsia and yellow and each is adorned with a CC logo in its center. They are made even more beautiful by the addition of mini seed pearls around the edges – a look that’s not only spectacular but elegant. Alternating between the colored crosses are 28 smaller gold ones, all bearing an engraved CC logos on each side.
The authenticity stamp is located on the back of the largest cross and while the necklace is in very good vintage condition we have noted that a few small pearls are missing from some of the crosses edges, but because they are so tiny it is not noticeable.
A majestic and versatile piece, the 26 ¾" (68 cm) necklace can be worn long, doubled around your neck, or even wrapped around your wrist as a stunning bracelet as shown in my photos.
