A rare and highly collectible piece of CHANEL costume jewelry coming from their 1994 Spring / Summer collection, this vintage GRIPOIX Cross Pendant is a very LARGE and substantial piece.
Uncommon and exceptional, the cross pendant is set in gold and consists of 4 polished domed cabochons in emerald green and 1 flat cabochon in royal blue with a touch of violet in the center. While the bottom has a hammered surface, the cross shaped settings on the green glass stones are polished, each culminating in a CC logo – and proclaiming to the world your exquisite taste!
The pendant is in immaculate vintage condition and measures approx. 4 1/4" (10.6 cm) long, 2 3/4" (7 cm) wide, 9/16" (1.5 cm) thick and is signed and dated "CHANEL Made in France" and "94P".
The technique of making poured glass Gripoix stones is incredibly difficult and is becoming a LOST ART.
This gorgeous CHANEL Maltese Cross Pendant will transform even the plainest of chains or necklaces into a luxurious showstopper.
