This vintage CHANEL dog tag necklace exemplifies the timeless and sophisticated style of CHANEL, and that is why we delight Vintage Chanel!

Very long CHANEL chain necklace with chunky large dog tag pendant.
Both are shiny gold plated.

The link chain necklace is lovely 39 3/4" (101 cm) long and closes with a hook and a small lobster clasp.

The CHANEL pendant features a rectangular "carte de visite" (calling card) with the engraved iconic address: "CHANEL 31 RUE CAMBON TEL. 42618335 TELEFAX 680996" in black lettering.

It is the original address of Chanel’s first boutique in Paris opened 1910. This store still exists today and is now the official flagship /mother store of Chanel.

The CHANEL pendant measures 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" (7 cm x 3.8 cm).

The CHANEL stamp is located on the hook of the necklace and indicates this rare piece is from 1982.

Gently used condition for a vintage piece of this age. Gold plating still shiny. Light wear to the pendant. On the back side a little bit more but it is not visible when worn.
