Gorgeous and also extreme rare, this CHANEL necklace Sautoir with a perfect medieval styled Maltese Cross pendant, right from the "Middle Ages". This necklace is absolutely the HOTTEST thing right now! It is made out of gold toned chain links with a textured surface, highlighted by various amber colored glass beads.
The length is adjustable, you can wear it either as one long strand or as a gorgeous and fancy double tour. It measures 38" (96,5cm) in total length. A cute little CC logo charm is situated at the end of this long necklace.
The Maltese Cross pendant is perfectly encrusted with Gripoix style faux amber stones, even so, it is rather large approx. 3 ¼" x 3 ¼" (8,2cm x 8,2cm). It consists of 13 amber color cabochons in both rectangular and circular shapes, very well accented with the CC logo at the centre.
The Maltese Cross dates back to the '40s as a well-known emblem design from the House of CHANEL. This version is from the Fall Winter Collection, 2007 and absolutely not available anywhere.
