Comely, convenient, classic and a bit unusual too, this vintage CHANEL belt with a middle small flap bag is a wardrobe winner.
This beautiful CHANEL flap bag is made of black leather with iconic diamond quilted top-stitching (matelassé) featuring 2 gold-tone "CHANEL PARIS" snaps.
The belt features 3 parts –
- ONE leather strap with 2 hooks.
- TWO gold-tone chains with black straps woven through the links (just like Chanel bag straps)
The chains have been added by our customer and are a kind of extender to make this belt larger and enable it to be carried as a cross-body bag. This way the belt has a total length of approx. 45" (114,2 cm).
When you don’t like these simply chains, then they can be easily removed and then you will have a belt in the size of 70/28 as originally stamped by CHANEL on the reverse (see picture). This leather strap has a total length of approx. 27 ¼" (69 cm) x 3/4" (2 cm) wide.
The CHANEL mini-bag measures approx. 6" x 4 3/8" (15 cm x 11 cm). The depth depends on the contents and is between 1" and 2" (2.5 and 5 cm). Please look at the photos to see and compare an empty and fully filled bag and it’s depth differences. It is the perfect size for holding a cell / smart phone, credit cards, cash, a key, lipstick, small compact and a mirror.
It is labelled on the interior with "CHANEL" and "Made in France" and has the serial number.
A versatile vision to be sure that can be worn as a belt, a necklace and as a bag. Enjoy it on your shoulder, across your body, or on your hips - any place you need a little drama and drape. The other CHANEL Mini Bag depicted in the INSPIRIATON Photo is not included in this offer.
In very good vintage condition. Please consider that this item has been pre-owned and due to its vintage nature shows minor signs of age such as a few slight scratches and a small bit of gold loss on the ADDITIONAL link chain added by our customer as an extension.
